External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar told Parliament that India is monitoring the West Asia war “continuously,” prioritising the safety of Indians abroad and energy security, and that New Delhi’s response rests on three pillars: peace and de‑escalation, protection of Indian citizens, and safeguarding national interests including oil and trade.
