Jaishankar calls for stronger Global South unity at UN amid rising global risks

The remarks called for united multilateral action, fair economic practices, resilient supply chains, urgent conflict resolution, technological collaboration, and reforms to the global system. India proposed five steps: strengthening consultation forums, sharing achievements, focusing climate action on the Global South, leveraging emerging technologies like AI, and reforming multilateral institutions. The EAM reaffirmed India’s commitment to solidarity and collaborative progress.
