Congress MLA slams ticket distribution, party waits for ‘right time’ to act
Updated on Feb 23, 2020 10:47 am IST
Congress MLA Roshan Baig questioned ticket distribution by the party for the Lok Sabha polls. Baig criticised the decision to give a ticket to only one Muslim, and no Christians. Party leaders reacted differently to the statement, with deputy Chief Minister of the state, G Parameshwara, calling it the MLA's personal opinion, while chief of the party's state unit, Dinesh Gundu Rao, said action would be taken when the time is right.
