London on Putin’s radar? Russian president calls possible UK military strikes a ‘military secret’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a fresh warning over foreign military involvement in the Ukraine conflict, saying military facilities in Ukraine are legitimate targets, including British ones. Asked whether British military-industrial facilities inside the UK could also become targets if British-made weapons are used against Russia, Putin replied that it was a “military secret.” Speaking in Bishkek, Putin also said Russia wants to end the Ukraine war rather than simply freeze the conflict, and is ready for negotiations with those seeking peace. He separately blamed Japan’s government for worsening bilateral relations, saying Moscow had taken no steps to damage ties.
