Mamata snipes at Scindia on Kolkata airport: ‘Not like those who killed farmers'

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has hit back at Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia after he claimed that the Bengal government was blocking files linked to a second airport plan in Kolkata. Before she embarked on a trip to Uttar Pradesh to support Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata said, "They need 1,000 acres for another airport in Kolkata.
