Modi government urges LPG users to switch to PNG as companies roll out incentives

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has asked commercial LPG users to shift to piped natural gas wherever pipeline infrastructure is already available, as the government tries to ease pressure on cylinder supplies. Reuters and other reports said the push was outlined by senior ministry official Sujata Sharma, who urged consumers to avoid panic booking and move to PNG where feasible.
