Turkey has unveiled dramatic new test footage of its Tolun-P bunker-penetrating guided munition, dropped from the Bayraktar Akıncı drone during a live firing exercise. The precision weapon is designed to penetrate hardened targets, including bunkers, command centers, and fortified aircraft shelters. Analysts say the test highlights Ankara’s growing focus on indigenous weapons development and expanded unmanned strike capabilities. The Tolun-P can be carried in multiple-weapon configurations and programmed for coordinated precision attacks. The showcase comes as Turkey pushes ahead with major defense modernization efforts, including drone expansion and the KAAN fighter program, amid shifting regional security dynamics.
