Powerful flash floods swept through Nepal's Gorkha district along the Budhi Gandaki River, reportedly washing away up to 40 homes and several bridges. At least five people were reported missing, with some local media outlets putting the number higher. Authorities said a landslide may have blocked a tributary before water surged downstream, while rescue teams faced difficulties reaching affected communities.
