Eight days on, the Punjab police is still looking for Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh. The police have released several CCTV videos of the fugitive escaping Punjab. Amid this, the Akal Takht Jathedar has released a message for Amritpal Singh telling him to surrender and cooperate with the Punjab police. Meanwhile, an alert has been sounded in Uttarakhand on the possibility of Amritpal Singh being there.
