Bangladesh villagers barge into Indian territory; Attack BSF with lethal weapons, flee with arms

Two Border Security Force (BSF) jawans sustained severe injuries after they were attacked by Bangladeshi villagers along the international border in West Bengal. The incident occurred near the Nirmalchar border outpost when two jawans of the 35th battalion came under attack by Bangladeshi farmers for trying to stop them to bring their cattle across the border. BSF said that Bangladeshi villagers also snatched jawans' weapons. The BSF has raised the issue with Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) to and called for a flag meeting.
