Big Win For India, Red-Faced Pakistan Releases BSF Jawan Detained At Border In Punjab | Op Sindoor

Pakistan released Border Security Force (BSF) constable Purnam Kumar Shaw on April 14. In a statement, BSF said, “Today BSF Jawan Purnam Kumar Shaw, who had been in the custody of Pakistan Rangers since 23 April 2025, was handed over to India at about 1030 hours through the Joint Check Post Attari, Amritsar. The handover was conducted peacefully and in accordance with established protocols.” Shaw was detained by Pakistan Rangers after he inadvertently crossed the international border in Punjab’s Ferozepur district on April 23, a day after terrorists killed 26 tourists in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
