Biggest single-day crackdown on "terror-funding"; NIA raids PFI at 95 locations

In a biggest single-day crackdown in alleged terror-funding activities, NIA raided 95 locations linked to the PFI and arrested 45 of its functionaries in 13 states of the country during night hours. The crackdown on the PFI came in the wake of series of cases that are being probed by the agencies involving the Islamist organisation. The PFI has condemned the raids, saying it will not surrender before the RSS-led "totalitarian" regime while denying the allegations that it was involved in terror funding and activities.
