Bus-truck collision in Barmer causes fire: 11 killed. PM announces ex-gratia

Over 10 people were killed and 22 were injured after a bus and a truck collided on Barmer-Jodhpur highway on Wednesday. The accident occurred near Bhandiyawas village and triggered a fire in which 11 people were burnt to death. Several videos of the accident went viral on social media. Black smoke billowed after the fire broke out from the collision. The bus was seen completely burnt in the videos. PM Modi condoled the bereaved families and announced ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh to kin of those who died in the accident. Watch the full video for more details.
