CBSE Class 10 result: Highest ever pass percentage amid Covid; girls outdo boys

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared results for class 10 board exams today. CBSE recorded the highest ever pass percentage of 99.04 in the class 10 exam results. The pass percentage increased by over 7 percentage points. Girls outshined boys by a margin of 0.35 per cent. The pass percentage of girls and boys stood at 99.24 per cent & 98.89 per cent respectively and transgenders achieved a pass percentage of 100 per cent in the examination. CBSE announced the results on the basis of an alternative assessment policy after exams were cancelled in view of the devastating second wave of Covid. Watch the full video for more.
