China's Xi to end Putin's Ukraine War? Zelensky sends new letter despite repeated snubs

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has written to Chinese President Xi Jinping inviting him to hold a dialogue. Zelensky's letter was handed over to the Chinese delegation attending the World Economic Forum at Davos by Ukraine's first lady Olena Zelenska. Ukraine has repeatedly tried to make contact with the Chinese leadership since the beginning of the war hoping that Beijing will use its influence over Russian president Vladimir Putin. Though Beijing has sought to maintain a neutral stance over the ongoing conflict, its ties with Moscow have only deepened over the last year. Last year, just days before the war, the two sides vowed a no-limits partnership.
