Congress to go solo in Maharashtra Assembly polls 2024? Shiv Sena responds

- Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut slammed Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole. Raut said Shiv Sena and NCP will also think about what they would do together in the future. Raut's statement comes after Patole said Congress will contest the next Assembly polls alone. “A friend in Maha Vikas Aghadi, Nana Patole said Congress will contest polls alone. They will be a part of the Maharashtra govt but contest polls alone. Then the remaining two parties will think about what they would do together in future,” the Sena leader said. There has been growing discontent in Maha Vikas Aghadi, especially Congress. Congress indicated that it may opt for fighting the 2024 assembly elections on its own. Congress shares power in Maharashtra with Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party.
