Cop rescues unconscious man, Marina beach flooded: Rain fury in Chennai

Rain wreaked havoc in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai as 14 deaths were reported so far. Incessant rain has caused flood-like situation in some areas. Chennai airport cancelled arrivals from 1.30 pm to 6 pm on Thursday. The departures continued as per scheduled. Several areas in Chennai were waterlogged including the famous Marina beach. Over ten NDRF teams were deployed for rescue and relief work in Chennai. A cop was seen rescuing an unconscious man and helping him to safety.
