Curfew in Maharashtra's Amravati amid violent protests over Tripura 'vandalism'

Maharashtra government imposed a curfew in Amravati after violent incidents during bandh calls on Friday and today. The violence had first erupted on Friday during a bandh against alleged incidents of vandalism and targeting of minority community in Tripura. In response to yesterday's incident, BJP had called for a bandh today during which more violence erupted, prompting government to impose curfew and snap Internet services in the area. A political war erupted between BJP and ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government over the violence. Watch this report for more.
