A high-end Delhi restaurant has landed into a controversy over a 'saree' video that went viral. Sharing the video, a woman alleged that she was refused entry because she was wearing a saree. The restaurant has, however, claimed the incident was misrepresented & released a clarification. Anita Choudaary alleged that she was not allowed to enter the Aquila restaurant at Ansal Plaza. The woman's video on Facebook captured her argument with some of the restaurant staff. Anita, according to her Facebook profile, is a creative director at Doordarshan National. After the clip went viral, the restaurant got heavy backlash with people calling it out on social media. Responding to the allegations, the restaurant took to Instagram to clarify their side of the story. It said the '10-sec' clip posted by Anita was part of a talk that lasted for 'one hour’. Aquila also apologised for their 'saree not a smart casual dress’ remark in the viral video.
