Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned on July 25 amid nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and growing demands for accountability in India's examination system. Pradhan announced his resignation on X, saying the decision was taken keeping the future of students in mind. The development came a day after representatives of the Cockroach Janta Party, led by Abhijeet Dipke, met Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh and said the government had sought a day's time to decide on Pradhan's resignation.
