Fuel price hike: Dharmendra Pradhan slams Rahul Gandhi, cites vaccination drive

- Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for criticising the government over the record high prices of petrol and diesel. The Union Minister said that Rahul Gandhi should ask Chief Ministers of opposition ruled states to cut taxes to give relief to the common man. The Minister was, however, silent on the high prices in BJP ruled states. Acknowledging that the govt was aware of how high prices are affecting the common man, the Minister cited government spending in the Covid vaccination drive and other measures to justify the prices.
