In a dramatic turn to Punjab thriller ahead of polls, Amarinder Singh has stepped down as state chief minister after months of infighting with Navjot Singh Sidhu. Amarinder submitted his resignation to the state governor and told media that he felt humiliated by the way he was treated over the past months. Amarinder's resignation came amid a heightened war of sardars in Punjab congress unit as Navjot Singh Sidhu had opened a front against him for allegedly failing to fulfil the poll promises made to the people of the state. A meeting of Cong CLP will take a decision on who will be the next chief minister of the state as the Punjab is set to go for polls after four months. Watch this report for more.
