Just weeks after Captain Amarinder Singh put in his papers as the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Congress suffered another jolt as Navjot Singh Sidhu quit as the party's state unit chief. In his letter Sidhu said that 'the collapse of a man's character stems from the compromise corner'. It is being speculated that selection of Charanjit Singh Channi as Amarinder's successor irked Sidhu, whose rebellion had led to the Captain's ouster. Meanwhile, as elections draw nearer, can the Gandhi right the ship in time? Hindustan Times' Aditi Prasad and Ramesh Vinayak decode the developments.
