A suspected water contamination incident in Ahmedabad's Ghatlodia area has left hundreds of residents suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting over the past four days. According to officials, a leaking pipeline caused sewage to mix with the Narmada water supply, affecting multiple housing societies in the locality. Residents alleged that they first raised concerns about the foul-smelling water on May 29, but claimed that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation did not take immediate action.
