Hijab-clad woman will become the PM of India one day, predicts Asaduddin Owaisi

• Amid the Karnataka hijab row, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that a hijab wearing girl will become the PM of India one day. In a video tweeted by Owaisi, the Lok Sabha MP was heard saying that girls wearing hijab will achieve great heights. “The women wearing hijab will become doctor, collector, magistrates, businesswomen and so on. I may not be alive to see this, but one day a woman wearing hijab will become the prime minister of this country,” Owaisi said. Earlier, Owaisi extended support to a hijab-clad girl who was allegedly heckled by boys in Karnataka. Owaisi said that that Muskan's act of fearlessness has become a source of courage for all and he appreciated her parents for her unapologetic upbringing. Watch full video.
