‘Not Hinduism, but Hindutva about beating… ': Rahul Gandhi; BJP sees red

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has kicked up a fresh political storm amid an ongoing row over Hindutva by claiming that Hinduism and Hindutva are two different concepts. He further claimed that while Hinduism does not preach hitting or killing non-Hindus like Muslims or Sikhs but the same is legitimised by the Hindutva. Rahul's comments came amid an ongoing row triggered by his party colleague Salman Khurshid who has compared Hindutva with ISIS and Boko Haram in his book on Ayodhya that was released two days ago. The BJP meanwhile has hit out at Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of hurting sentiments of Indians by targeting the Hindu religion. Watch this report for more.
