India, Nepal, B'desh Unite for Power Trade Deal as China Watches | What Tripartite Agreement Means

India, Nepal and Bangladesh have reportedly finalised the draft of a tripartite power trade agreement. The deal, aimed at reducing the dependence of India's neighbours on China, is likely to be signed in the coming months. The agreement will help to forge a greater energy connectivity across India's neighbourhood. It will allow Nepal and Bangladesh to trade power through the Indian grid.
