‘Indispensable Partner’: U.S confident of India ties despite Russia-Ukraine war

- The United States has called India as its indispensable partner amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The White House asserted that the two countries are pursuing their own national interests in Ukraine. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during her daily news conference that the U.S is confident in its relationship with India. She was responding to a question if the India-U.S relationship is drifting apart in the aftermath of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. "We see … the (Indian) partners as indispensable partners. And the US-India Strategic Partnership is grounded in our shared commitment to the advancement of a free and open Indo-Pacific region," she said. Watch this video for more details.
