Kashmir is back in focus as Supreme Court is all set to pronounce its verdict on a batch of petitions challenging the dilution of Article 370 that gave Jammu and Kashmir a special status. The verdict will be pronounced around 10.30 am by the top court. Remember, the Jammu and Kashmir was stripped of its special status on August 5, 2019 by the Union Government led by Narendra Modi. The erstwhile state was also split into two Union territories and since then the region is being directly ruled by New Delhi. Watch Union Home Minister Amit Shah's 2019 speech from Rajya Sabha.
