Modi Govt acts on ‘Khalistan Promotion’ in India; Blocks six YouTube channels

The Narendra Modi government has blocked six YouTube channels linked to Khalistani content. As per PTI, the channels were showing content in Punjabi language and were blocked over the past 10 days. Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apurva Chandra said the channels were trying to foment trouble in the border state. The action comes weeks after Khalistan sympathiser Amritpal Singh's supporters stormed a police station in Ajnala with swords and guns to demand the release of one of their aides.
