Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has reacted to the Adani crisis as the billionaire saw $125 billion wipeout as his stocks nosedived. The downfall of Gautam Adani began with a report released by Hindenburg Research, a U.S. short-seller. Nirmala Sitharaman in an interview with News18 said, "India's financial sector is very well regulated and one instance, no matter how much it is talked about globally, is not going to be indicative of how well Indian financial markets have been governed."
