Nitin Gadkari tells Elon Musk not to sell made-in-China Tesla cars in India

Union minister Nitin Gadkari, known for not mincing his words in public, revealed that he has repeatedly told American electric car-maker Tesla to not manufacture their vehicles in China, and then sell them in India. The Road Transport & Highways Minister offered government help to Tesla to set up manufacturing in India to sell in the domestic market, as well as export from here. The BJP leader was speaking on the EV revolution at an India Today event. Recently, Gadkari had revealed that there has been no Chinese investment in Indian highway projects in the recent past.
