No exam for Hijab students in Karnataka as Bommai govt intensifies crackdown

Bommai governent in Karnataka barred scores of Muslim girls wearing hijab from writing board exam on Monday. The crackdown is not just limited to Muslim students but an exam supervisor was also suspended in Bengaluru for wearing hijab on duty. As per Karnataka board figures, 20,994 students skipped their exam, which is much higher than last year. While majority of Muslim students did appear for the exam, but many of them were asked to remove hijab before entering the examination halls. Watch the video for more details.
