Prigozhin’s Shock Return To Russia Spooks NATO; ‘Wagner Boss Moving...’ | Key Details

NATO has stepped up monitoring of Wagner Group Boss Yevgeny Prigozhin after it was found that he had returned to Russia even though he is in exile. Following their brief mutiny last month, the Wagner Group was reportedly sent into exile in Belarus. However, recent reports indicate that their leader, Prigozhin, has returned to Russia to collect arms and cash. The Kremlin responded to Prigozhin's return, stating that they were not actively monitoring his movements. Nevertheless, this development has raised concerns within the US-led military bloc, particularly NATO, which had previously vowed to protect its territories in the aftermath of the Wagner mutiny. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko confirmed Prigozhin's return to Russia, adding that he plans to meet with Russian President Putin soon to discuss the Wagner situation.
