‘Proud to be a Hindustani Muslim’: Ghulam Nabi Azad in farewell speech

- Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad gave his farewell speech in the upper house. Azad thanked all parties for the work done in Jammu and Kashmir. ‘I am among those fortunate people who never went to Pakistan. When I read about circumstances in Pakistan, I feel proud to be a Hindustani Muslim,’ Azad said during his speech. Earlier in the day, PM Modi had also given an emotional farewell to Ghulam Nabi Azad and had even teared up while narrating an anecdote from the time they were Chief Ministers.
