Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been appointed as the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, party’s general secretary KC Venugopal told reporters on June 25. The appointment of Rahul Gandhi to the role comes ahead of elections for the Lok Sabha speaker’s post on June 26.
