Home Minister Amit Shah justified the ban on Popular Front of India (PFI) in an interview with ANI. He said that the Modi government banned the organization rising above politics. “I believe that PFI was spreading conversion and radicalism. They were trying to prepare raw materials for terrorism. We have so many documents that verify that the activities being carried out by the PFI were not good for the unity of the country,” Shah said in the interview. He pointed out that he never said that the now-banned PFI and Congress party are the same. Watch this video for more.
