A massive controversy has erupted after a video of staff offering Namaz inside Lulu Mall in Lucknow went viral. The mall management has clarified that the establishment respects all major world religions and that no religious activity, including prayer, is permitted there. Although it was stated that individuals performing the namaz were mall employees, Sameer Verma, the mall's general manager, said both mall floor staff and security personnel are trained to watch out for such activities. An FIR has also been filed after Hindu Mahasabha staged a protest outside the mall that Hindus should also be allowed to offer prayers inside. Watch this video for more details.
