Scotland replace Bangladesh in T20 world cup; BCCI hits out at Pakistan

A major twist has hit the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 as Scotland replaces Bangladesh in the tournament lineup. Reacting to the development, BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla said India had wanted Bangladesh to participate and had even assured full security, but the late decision made it impossible to rework the match schedule. As a result, Scotland was brought in as a replacement team.
