'Sharp positivity rate': Omicron fast replacing Delta in the country

The Centre on Wednesday echoed the recent concerns expressed by the WHO on the spread of Omicron warning that people are considering Omicron as mild, which is not right. Niti Aayog member Dr Paul urged the people to get vaccinated and follow the Covid guidelines recommended by the government. He cautioned that Omicron is fast replacing Delta in the country as India's Covid positivity rate on Wednesday stood at 11.05%. Watch full video.
