A tragic accident in Mumbai's Chembur claimed the life of an 11-year-old student after an old roadside peepal tree collapsed onto a school bus carrying children home from school. The incident occurred on Road No. 11 at around 2:58 pm, trapping several students inside the bus. Fire Brigade personnel and emergency responders quickly reached the spot and rescued all the children, including two who were trapped. Following the incident, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde ordered a detailed inquiry, while police registered a case of accidental death to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tree collapse.
