Uttarakhand: 5 Killed In Haldwani Madrassa Violence; Govt Vows To Make 'Rioters' Pay, 4 Held

Five people have died so far in violence in Uttarkhand's Haldwani that erupted yesterday against the demolition of a madrassa that the government in the state was built on state land. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that they will make the violence accused pay for the damages caused to the public property while police arrested four accused so far and identified another 15.
