Uttarakhand Tunnel Rescue: Vertical Drilling Brings Rescuers 31M Closer To 41 Trapped Workers

Ray of light for 41 workers trapped under a collapsed tunnel in Uttarakhand. Vertical drilling of the hill is underway after the auger broke down during manual drilling. 31 metres of the hill has been drilled and around 70 more metres remain until the rescuers reach the trapped workers. Soon, manual drilling is also set to begin where Indian Army personnel will join the operation. Watch for more details.
