Yogi Govt bulldozes house of Umesh Pal murder accused’s aide in Prayagraj

In a fresh twist to the Umesh Pal murder case in Uttar Pradesh, accused Atiq Ahmed has now moved Supreme Court seeking protection. He alleged that he can be killed in an encounter at any given time. This comes hours after the Prayagraj Development Authority razed the house of his aide Khalid Jafar, where his wife Shaista was currently living. Umesh Pal, who was the prime witness in BSP MLA Raju Pal's murder, and his police security guard were shot dead last Friday outside his home in the Dhoomanganj area of Prayagraj.
