Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado has defended Donald Trump’s deadly “narco-boat” strikes in the Caribbean, calling them “about saving lives.” Speaking to Bloomberg, Machado blamed every death on President Nicolas Maduro and urged global action to “cut off drug-fueled power.” Her remarks come as Trump faces GOP backlash over the legality of the strikes, which have killed 64 people.
