One dead after building collapses in Delhi's Rohini amid heavy rains; search & rescue ops continue

One person was killed after a building collapsed in Delhi's Rohini area on July 8 amid heavy rainfall in the national capital. The deceased has been identified as Ram, a mechanic. Officials said eight people were trapped under the debris after the collapse, prompting the Delhi Fire Services to launch a rescue operation. According to the Delhi Fire Services, local residents rescued two people from the rubble before emergency teams arrived and shifted them to a hospital for treatment. Rescue personnel continue to search for others feared trapped beneath the debris.
