Pahalgam attack: Former army chief VP Malik on lapses in security & what govt should do next

Former Indian Army Gen VP Malik spoke to Hindustan Times’ Abhishek Singh on the dastardly terror attack in Palgham, which left 26 tourists dead. The former Indian Army chief said that India's approach to addressing the ongoing security challenges in Pahalgam, a notable tourist destination in Kashmir, must be comprehensive and layered. The former Indian Army Chief also said that all terror groups in Pakistan are controlled by the Pakistan Army. He added that Pakistan has crossed the red line with the Pahalgam attack and said that action needs to be taken.
