Operation Sindoor, India’s massive tri-services strike on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, triggered a fierce artillery response from Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC). In retaliation for India’s precision strikes targeting Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed hideouts after the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling across multiple sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, especially Poonch and Tangdhar. The cross-border barrage killed at least 15 civilians, including children, and injured over 40 others. Indian Army jawan Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar of 5 Field Regiment was also killed in Poonch due to Pakistani shelling. Watch for more
