Pentagon warns on armed conflict with China | 'Asian logistics support' lacking

In the event of an armed conflict, the U.S. Defense Dept. feels the military lacks logistics capacity in Asia. Document warns - American forces lack sufficient logistics capabilities in Asia to refuel and rearm. As per Nikkei Asia, the assessment appears in the program planning document submitted to congress in mid-April. Pre-conflict stockpiling of ammo, fuel, food & drugs will be crucial for U.S. ability to resupply armed forces.
