A dramatic incident has shaken Beijing after a plane reportedly crashed into the city’s tallest skyscraper, the 109‑storey CITIC Tower. The tower – which combines offices, residences and hotel space and serves as the headquarters of state‑owned CITIC Group – was quickly sealed off as emergency services and police flooded the area.
